"What Goes On At A Foot Party?"

by FootBoyBrian on 7th Feb 2010

Hey Foot (and sock and shoe and boot and tickle) men!

I'm writing this blog for two reasons:  1) to answer the question I get a bajillion times from men that have never been to a foot party "What goes on at a foot party?", and 2) to convince those that have never been to a foot party to get up and go!!!

So to begin by answering the first question, which is not easy.

A foot party, for me, consists of whatever I personally am in the mood for.  Simple as that!  Sometimes it's a quiet beer, watching some people play in the corner.  Sometimes it's good conversation with old friends, and sometimes I meet new friends.  Sometimes I feel like getting into the action, and will end up massaging someone's feet, or smelling their socks.

The bottom line is that the foot parties are a place where I can surround myself with people that "get it."  It's a place where the fetish is a big deal and no big deal all at the same time.  You can talk about it openly, play openly, exchange numbers, or do none of the above and just make small-talk with some great people.  I've made so many new friends at the parties, play-mates and otherwise.

Now on to my second purpose:  convincing you foot party virgins to give it a go!

First, I've found that most fetish parties take place in leather bars, but if you've never been to a leather bar before, don't psych yourself out over it.  Know that the leather community is extremely open-minded, and that is the reason that most fetish parties happen there- it's a welcoming spot for people to be whoever the hell they want to be without being judged for it.

Second, don't get so worked up about the experience.  Remember that it's supposed to be fun!  No one is going to force you to do something you don't want to.  I understand that a lot of guys are not into playing in a public setting and I don't judge anyone for feeling that way.  I often use the parties as a way of simply meeting other people into the fetish face-to-face, which is a much different experience from the typical "Nice feet- got a face pic?"  Which brings me to my third and perhaps most important point.....

The internet has given today's fetish men an unbelievable number of opportunities to meet other guys from around the globe.  I have often, however, fallen victim to the trap of sitting on my butt for hours on end searching for things, when there's a whole world of fun right outside my door.  The party is a chance for me to get out and live a little, meet people face-to-face and actually EXIST and INTERACT with men, rather than simply BROWSING them.

So for all of you men that live in cities that host parties, I urge you to take the chance and go have a little fun.  If you're in NYC you'll surely see me at the parties at the Eagle!

If you're still not convinced, feel free to shoot Feet on Friday a message with your questions or concerns.  For the rest of you... I'll see you out at the party!!

If it is your first time at Feet on Friday, do ask the barman to point out either Andy or Stainless and we’ll make sure you’re welcomed and are introduced to a few guys, so you are not alone.

Sometimes it gets a bit busy and it is difficult to spot new faces, so please seek us out rather than relying on us to spot you!
