Our theme for the August event is shoes - whether it is smart ‘work’ shoes or a trashed pair of Rockies it’s all good. We’ll have a shoeshine boy on hand to give your kicks that extra bit of spit and polish...

As always, we never enforce a dress-code for our themes, so if shoes aren’t your thing, you can come in trainers, socks, or whatever you feel most comfortable in.

The event is from 7pm-Midnight in The Underground club, in the basement of Central Station. Entry is £6 with free coat-check.

New Sockstars site

The old Sockstars site has been suffering in recent months with a number of technical issues, and the guys behind it have been working on an all new site to replace it with more modern features. The new Sockstars site has been online for a while now and they seem to have got most of the bugs ironed out of it. The new chat-rooms went live recently and feature a standard text chat-room as well as one where you can use your webcam.

Feet on Friday Survey Results

We’ve been running Feet on Friday for almost a year now, and we’ve come a long way in that time. We hope you’ll agree it is an improvement on the old Feetmeet friday nights.

We thought it’s time to stand back and ask you what you think about what we’re doing and what you want from Feet on Friday.

July 18th - Barefeet

Our theme for July is Feet, and showing them off - be it in flip-flops, sandals, or just plain simple barefeet.

NOTE: For health & safety reasons, it is not permitted to go barefoot in the club outside of the ‘barefoot room’

We never enforce a dress code, so if barefeet isn’t your thing, you are welcome to come wearing whatever footwear you like.

June 20th Football Crazy

Our theme for June is Football Crazy - whether it is football socks, football boots, astroturf trainers, or shinpads, it’s all good.

We never enforce a dress code, so if football stuff isn’t your thing, you are welcome to come wearing whatever footwear you like.

May 16th Boots Night

Our theme for this month is Boots - and the bigger the better! If you come along wearing boots, we’ll give you £2 off entry. We want to see guys in all kinds of boots, including Riggers, DMs, Rangers, Motorcycle boots, Timberlands - all kinds of boots. To qualify for discount, boots must be at least 5 inches high.

Sniffing Trainers may prevent Epileptic Seizures?

The Guardian’s Weekend Magazine reported yesterday in the ‘Body’ section that sniffing smelly shoes may prevent epileptic seizures. It has to be shoes rather than feet because the specific odour activates nerves that damp down the stimulus to convulsion. Apparently, an article on this appeared in the scientific journal Clinical Neurology and Neurosurgery. If the shoe fits, sniff it!

Bring and Buy Sale (April 08)

A lot of guys are into buying and selling used and new footwear on eBay and similar sites. We thought it would be fun to have a Bring-and-Buy sale at Feet on Friday in April. You can use the event to sell, exchange or buy items from other guys.

Thanks to everyone who came along in March - although many of our regulars were unable to come along due to Easter Holidays, we were very busy with around fifty guys attending and lots of new faces.

We now have a photo album, to which we’ll be adding photos taken at our events. You’ll find pics taken at our March 08 Easter event in the gallery and we’ll be adding more pics from past and future events.
